Winter Rummage Sale

Come to one of the city's largest garage sales with over 25 families selling under one roof! Saturday morning 9:00 - 12:00 at the Blodel Donovan Community Building in Bellingham. Free admission to the public.


First Saturday Folk Dance

The Makedonians play Greek folkdance music on February 4th from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Fairhaven branch of the Bellingham Public Library. Fingerfood/potluck donation. No street shoes for dancing; all ages welcome.

 
SPARK Electronics Workshop
 
Ignite the imagination in the Spark Electronics Workshops. Participants explore and dismantle electronics using appropriate tools and techniques, then re-use components in any way imaginable. Cyberpunk and Steampunk sculptures are a favorite pursuit of many participants. The workshop is held from 1-3 PM, costs $18/day, and is appropriate for ages 8-14. Call 360-738-3886 or email anne@sparkmuseum.org for more information.

 
Teen Game Night

Middle School Open Swim


Bellingham
Parks and Recreation is sponsoring FREE open swims for middle school age youth at ArneHannaAquaticCenter. Middle schoolers are invited to slide, swim, soak, splash around, dive, play water polo, and hang out with friends in a safe, supervised setting. Fridays, January 20th - February 24 from 8:00-10:00 p.m. For more information call 778-7000.


 

Compete for a Cause Scrabble Tournament

 

Saturday, Feb 4th from 10:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. with a Secret Tips for Success session at 9:45 at The Leopold Ballroom (1224 CornwallBellingham, WA). All proceeds to benefit WhatcomDisputeResolutionCenter! All ages and experience levels welcome, though understanding of the game is important. Entry fee is $20 ($10 for students).
